Vivian Maduekeh, Program Coordinator: Climate and Health, brings her experience in global health, sustainable food systems, agriculture, and international development in the Global South to the Global Alliance. She has worked in cross-functional roles in the private sector, research, policy, and non-profit settings. Vivian founded Food Health Systems Advisory in 2015, a foremost food advisory firm that has consulted on several international food systems projects in Africa. She worked with Partners in Food Solutions as the Country Program Manager in Nigeria, the World Health Organization researching on antimicrobial resistance in the food chain, Hygeia HMO a health insurance firm as a prevention and health promotion officer, a UK Department for International Development health project, and with Rivers Vegetable Oil Company as a quality control/production officer. Vivian resides in London and has lived and worked in Geneva Switzerland and West Africa.

Vivian holds an MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine from the University of Oxford, UK, and a BSc. (Hons) in Food Science and Technology for the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike. She is Ph.D. candidate in Food Policy at the City, University of London. She is a certified project management professional and an accredited food safety auditor and trainer. Vivian is a senior food security fellow at the Aspen Institute, and a board member at the Lagos Food Bank Initiative. She enjoys watching documentaries, cooking, and reading to her three lovely kids.
