As a journalist, Meena Nallainathan, Program Coordinator, has covered the effects of climate change on women’s health, Sri Lankan politics, media coverage of Darfur, and the cost of Canadian immigration. Based in Toronto, she has also worked at the International Freedom of Expression Exchange (IFEX) – a network of 115 press freedom and human rights organizations. She has degrees in religion and culture, and journalism. And she travels to Sri Lanka as often as she can to visit friends and family, and to eat lots of love cake.
