Beth Hunter is Program Director at the McConnell Foundation, where she has worked since 2010, leading work on sustainable food systems (including with Nourish, an initiative on the future of food in healthcare) and transitions to a more equitable, sustainable economy and society. As a co-founder of Equiterre, she led work on sustainable agriculture. Previous to coming to McConnell, she was Oceans campaign coordinator for Greenpeace Canada, and holds an MSc in rural economics from Université Laval. Her research was on dietary diversity and Food Security in rural Lebanon. She sits on the Board of Directors of the Maple Leaf Centre for Action on Food Security and the Academy for Systems Change, and writes at vudici.blog.
