Action for the Future of Food Report: Panel Series with Food Tank and IFAD

From January to June 2021, the Global Alliance for the Future of Food, Food Tank, and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) partnered to deliver a series of panel discussions, each of these events was thematically inspired by the Global Alliance’s Seven Calls to Action. Featuring members of the UN Food Systems Summit Champions Network, speakers came from around the world and a variety of professional backgrounds, including government, the nonprofit sector, farming, research, the private sector, philanthropy, journalism, and activism. 

Action for the Future of  Food: Panel Series with UN Food Systems Summit Champions Network is a summary report exploring the linkages between the sessions, generating valuable insights about areas of convergence and divergence. With a focus on pathways to action, the dialogues addressed some of the most critical issues currently facing global food systems – including hunger, climate change, biodiversity loss, governance, human rights, inequality, malnutrition in all its forms, COVID-19 pandemic, and more. Read the full report.
