Diving Deep: Understanding the State of Aquaculture and Fisheries Funding

Registration is now closed for this webinar.

Dates: April 30 at 1:30pm ET/10:30am PT
Location: Online webinar

Co-hosted by the Environmental Grantmakers Association, Health and Environmental Funders Network, and GRACE Communications Foundation

The webinar will dive into a recent report from GRACE Communications Foundation and the Environmental Grantmakers Association, seeking to better understand existing efforts in philanthropy around fisheries and the rising field of aquaculture

The United Nations estimated that more than 3.3 billion people around the world depend on fish and seafood for at least 20% of their animal protein. Many forms of fishing and aquaculture support climate justice and culturally appropriate diets.

The webinar will provide context around fisheries and aquaculture, discuss report findings, and comment on philanthropic efforts toward more just and sustainable seafood systems.
